Overview
To work in a dynamic Construction Services group serving both public and private projects. The ability to work independently and with others on design projects to support Engineering and Management.
Essential FunctionsResponsible for administering and routing of contract documents during the construction phase of project, assists the Construction Manager during all aspects of the project bid phase and construction phases of a project. Carries out recurring office procedures independently; schedules meetings and communicates effectively with the Owner, Contractor, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and field observer. May prepare and sign routine, non-technical correspondence in own or Construction Manager's name;
schedules tentative appointments without prior clearance; makes arrangement for conferences and meetings and assembles established background materials, as directed; collects information for routine inquiries or periodic reports; refers non-routine request to Construction Manager.
- 2 to 4 years' experience in the construction industry preferred
- Must have excellent organizational, time management, communication, and writing skills, along with an accommodating and proactive attitude
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential
- High level verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Newforma (engineering software) a plus
