An established AISC-certified structural steel fabricator is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its growing team in Georgia. With a strong backlog of commercial and institutional work, they're searching for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships, and delivering successful projects from start to finish.

Why This Role?The company continues to secure repeat business from leading general contractors across the Southeast, creating the need for another experienced Project Manager to join the team.
This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit projects and keep them ticking over.
You'll become a trusted point of contact for customers, fabrication teams, field operations and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably while protecting both client relationships and commercial performance.

The ProjectsYou'll manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals packages across a wide variety of commercial and institutional construction projects, including:
Projects typically range from $100,000 to $1 million, with opportunities to support larger, more complex developments as the business continues to grow.
You'll take ownership of projects from award through fabrication, erection and closeout, including:
- Managing budgets, schedules and overall project performance
- Coordinating fabrication, purchasing and field operations
- Reviewing construction drawings, contracts and specifications
- Managing RFIs, submittals and change orders
- Communicating with general contractors, customers and vendors
- Resolving project challenges before they impact delivery
- Visiting project sites when required to support successful execution
This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a project—balancing technical knowledge, commercial awareness and strong communication to keep everything moving forward.
What You'll BringTo be successful, you'll have:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within structural steel fabrication and erection
- Experience managing structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and field installation
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, contracts and specifications
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, scheduling and change order management
- Procore experience is preferred but not essential
Most importantly, you'll be organised, proactive and confident building relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
