John Megel Chevrolet needs to hire a Service Advisor / Writer to start immediately. We are one of the leading dealerships in the area and are adding to our teams of Service Advisors to meet customer demand in our service centers. Job Description

Schedule appointments with customers

Greet customers and make them feel welcome!

Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs; advise of any current special promotions available

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments with customers
  • Greet customers and make them feel welcome!
  • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs; advise of any current special promotions available
  • Work with customer and technician to identify required services using vehicle's service history
  • Compute cost of replacement parts and labor
  • Address customer's questions and needs promptly and professionally
  • Ensure comprehensive re-delivery check of customer vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been completed as scheduled
  • Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with service manager
  • Meet the dealership's standards for repair order production
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of Service Advisor and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Chevrolet experience is a plus!
  • A 'People Person' with excellent communication skills
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Professional personal appearance
