Position: Customer Care Specialist II(Manheim)

Job Overview

Company: Cox Automotive.
Position: Customer Care Specialist II (CCSII).
Location: Hybrid – remote part of week; in‑office visits minimum once per quarter at one of the company locations.
Travel: Occasional travel required.
Compensation: Hourly base pay $18.17 – $27.31 per hour; eligible for commission and incentive programs.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Private Store internal partners, clients, and product users.
  • Act as an ambassador of Private Store, providing consultative information to end‑users and clients.
  • Develop cooperative relationships with Private Store Level2, Sales, Corporate Partners (e.g., Manheim, MDM) and client teams.
  • Inform all parties of the status of open issues and work closely with escalation partners to document and monitor exceptions to standard processes, creating best practices.
  • Problem‑solve by consulting with dealers and educating them about Private Store, Manheim Digital / In‑Lane, and ancillary partners.
  • Provide responsive, timely telephone, chat, and email support; all calls returned before the close of business on the same day.
  • Act as the single point of contact for issues, from identification through resolution whenever possible.
  • Provide training to end‑users on Private Store and ancillary product offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED with at least3years of relevant experience, OR a related degree/certification with up to1year of experience, OR 5years of related experience.
  • Preferred:
    College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of4years of client‑service experience in a technical role for a customer‑facing, online purchasing platform.
  • Client‑focused, service‑oriented professional with proven ability to learn new technologies.
  • Motivated self‑starter with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially in phone and email contexts.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fast, motivated learner with working knowledge of email and internet.
  • Attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Adaptability to a changing environment; automotive experience or exposure a strong plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Monthly in‑office visits required (minimum once per quarter) and residence within driving distance of one of the listed locations:
    Statesville, NC;
    Bordentown, NJ;
    Matteson, IL;
    Euless, TX;
    Tolleson, AZ;
    Ocoee, FL;
    Riverside, CA; or Atlanta, GA.
  • Must clear a pre‑employment drug test; the company does not administer a marijuana test for this position but maintains a drug‑free workplace policy.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.
Benefits
