ITM Teller -Part Time

Position Description

The ITM Teller is responsible for increasing Queensborough Customer Loyalty by ensuring consistent, positive, and valuable customer Interactive Teller Machine experience. Under general supervision, but conforming to established policies and procedures, employees operate an Interactive Teller Machine and provide prompt, efficient, accurate transactions and STAR quality customer service. Employees are responsible for balancing each day’s transactions.

• Provide support to Spanish speaking customers
• Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner
• Accept ITM deposits and cash checks to customers’ accounts
• Accept ITM loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments
• Cross-sell the Bank’s services and products
• Answer customer inquiries and give balances
• Balance transactions at end of day
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Bank and comply with all banking laws, rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Research and verify account information
• Answer questions and solve problems for customers

• Fluent in Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of six months cash handling & customer service experience
• Previous Teller experience strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate on-line teller terminal required
• Successful completion of Teller training and other required compliance training
• Professional demeanor and presentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
