Join other dental providers to improve the oral health of Georgia and beyond. The DCG was founded to provide the people of Georgia with quality dental care by educating students in dentistry.
As a patient, you have the option to receive treatment in one of our three different practice models consisting of student clinics, resident care, or in the faculty practice. All dental treatments can be completed by the specialists in our facility. We also serve patients in more than 20 clinics across Georgia.
Supervise all aspects of dental laboratory activities. Responsible for overall organization, employee utilization, and general operation of the dental laboratory. Ensure that employees comply with AU policies and regulations. Evaluate employees and provide advice, counsel, and disciplinary action as required. Perform annual performance appraisals for employees in coordination with department managers. Fabricate all types of precision fixed dental prosthetic restorations for students, residents, and faculty members at the Dental College of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Supervise all aspects of dental laboratory activities. Responsible for overall organization, employee utilization, and general operation of the lab. Ensure employees comply with MCG policies and regulations.
- Evaluate employees and provide advice, counsel, and disciplinary action as required. Perform annual MCG performance appraisals in coordination with the department chairman.
- Monitor quality control of all aspects of lab activities and products. Ensure prostheses are fabricated to the highest quality in compliance with work authorization. Employ the Lab Manager program to monitor progress and employee effort.
