Dental One Associates is looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our offices located in Norcross and Marietta, GA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatments. You will support our mission to provide excellent dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support:
    Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care:
    Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics:
    Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
  • Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
  • 2 years or more on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
  • X-Ray certification.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
