Responsibilities Process dental insurance claims efficiently using billing software. Review and interpret insurance policies, including understanding DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards to facilitate correct claim processing. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims by communicating with insurance companies and patients to resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain detailed records of dental billing, dental records, and dental coding activities to support audit readiness and compliance.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries related to insurance coverage, billing issues, and payment options. Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify patient coverage details and ensure proper documentation of dental procedures. Stay updated on healthcare claims management practices, dental insurance regulations, and changes in dental terminology affecting billing procedures. Qualifications:
Proven experience in dental office settings with a strong focus on dental insurance claims processing and billing. Familiarity with dental terminology, dental records management, and dental insurance policies. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for handling complex billing processes accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and insurance providers.

Ability to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare regulations and billing procedures.
