Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate sourcing activities for assigned new programs and act as primary sourcing point of contact to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to clearly define the project scope and develop a project plan, to include budget and schedule.
- Prepare and present deliverables for the sourcing portion of gate reviews for assigned programs.
- Report on sourcing metrics during periodic program reviews.
- Coordinate solicitation of competitive bids for components and/or assemblies with the internal commodities teams.
- Consolidate and record component/assembly price, lead‑time, tooling information, etc. into program management tracking sheets.
- Manage the initial creation and population of SAP purchasing info records and source lists for assigned programs.
- Assist in the evaluation of make vs buy analysis to determine optimal chain of supply for materials and suppliers.
- Coordinate with sourcing and procurement teams to support timely deliveries of components for prototype and pre‑production builds.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required. - Years of
Experience:
2 or more years of relevant experience required. - Software Knowledge:
Microsoft Office applications, SAP preferred.
