Candidates must be able to work from one of these office locations in accordance with the role’s onsite/hybrid work requirements.
Job Title/High-Level
Position Summary:
The Cost Accountant directs activities of product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation. The position provides recommendations to management in support of the achievement of Company goals. Position reports to the Director of Global Cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
- Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information as needed for decision making support.
- Review set up new raw material, packaging, WIP (work in progress), and FG (Finished Good) items;
Review Production BOMs (BILL OF MATERIAL) and routers; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates - Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
