Ginning Leadership Program

Overview

Lummus Corporation Ginning Leadership Program (GLP) is a formal program centered around on-the-job training and leadership development in an agricultural space. GLP moves young professionals through different roles and tasks within Lummus Corporation to develop new skills and bring a new perspective to existing work. Each participant will be trained for three years, with opportunities to travel while learning the agriculture industry and gaining mentorship from seasoned agriculture-focused professionals.

Participants rotate between locations in Savannah, GA;
Memphis, TN; and Lubbock, TX.

• Three-year training program with on-the-job development in an agricultural environment
• Rotations across locations:
  Savannah, GA;
  Memphis, TN; and Lubbock, TX
• Travel opportunities within the region (up to 60-70% of time, especially August to December)
• Mentorship from seasoned agriculture-focused professionals

• College graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.8
• Ability to relocate to Savannah, GA;
  Lubbock, TX; or Memphis, TN
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to participate in leadership trainings
• Commitment to Lummus Corporation for 3 years
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations on work projects
