Augusta University (AU) College of Nursing (CON) invites applications for a full‑time, 12‑month Instructor. CON is the state's flagship nursing program, enrolling more than 1,000 students across two campuses and partner sites. The college offers BSN, MSN, DNP, and PhD programs and is part of a publicly funded academic health science center. This position is not tenure‑track.

Responsibilities may vary by Pre‑Licensure Program concentration, expertise, and academic rank.

• Classroom instruction
• Simulation and Skills Lab instruction
• May include clinical teaching
• Participation in department committees

Master's degree in nursing. Active licensure to practice nursing in Georgia or meet all eligibility requirements to apply for a nursing license in Georgia.

• Consistent with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation requirements
• Evidence of ability as a teacher
• Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned
• Successful experience (waived for candidates entering the academic profession who meet all other requirements)
• Desirable personal qualities judged on the basis of interview, biographical data, and recommendations

Academic teaching experience in clinical, simulation, or skills lab. Didactic teaching experience with classroom technology.

This 12‑month position is fiscal year based and works year‑round. Full‑time equivalent (FTE) is 1.0.

Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements; subject to availability of funds.
