JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
Master’s degree (preferred).
Certification or Licensure: Must possess a valid Georgia teaching certificate or ability to acquire. Graduate work in reading, math, or technology AND/OR related endorsements (reading, math, gifted, STEM, online teaching, personalized learning, computer science, teacher support and coaching, teacher leader, coaching) preferred. Must meet the district’s online learning competency requirement.
Skills: Knowledge of the RCSS curriculum, techniques for integrating technology into the curriculum, RCSS policies, and effective instructional practices for face‑to‑face and virtual instruction. Understanding of the teaching and learning process.?
Ability to problem solve and work effectively with administrators, teachers, and students. Technical proficiency and the ability to learn new technology and online systems quickly. Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills. Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System.
Work Experience: At least five years of successful teaching experience; evidence of student achievement and student progress; strong leadership skills; familiarity with adult learning and online learning; evidence of effective technology use; and data analysis skills.
PRIMARY DUTYThis position is responsible for supporting, developing, and coaching teachers on increasing content knowledge and skills for effective teaching and learning under the direction of the School Principal and the Department of Teaching and Learning. The main work location will be school-based.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSRequired to attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the RCSS contract. Some work beyond the school day may be required.

Salary: $52,239 to $91,120 SY
