Job Overview

The Defense Sector at Leidos has an opening for a CPE TRADE Training Specialist at Fort Gordon, GA.

The Training Specialist will be adept at applying lesson plans to both formal classroom and informal learning settings, adapt techniques to meet all student needs, employ a range of methods to assess participant learning and training effectiveness, provide positive coaching and feedback, review participant products, and facilitate engaging activities.

He or she will evaluate and revise learning activities and content based on input and observations, coordinate and report on participant and training progress, and assist the team with customer communications, project planning, stakeholder updates, and support training initiatives.

• Become familiar with and maintain familiarity with a dynamic customer curriculum.
• Develop subject matter expertise, communicate with diverse groups, create tailored learning content, mentor students, and provide effective instruction.
• Assist program teams with project integration support, develop new course content, and facilitate multi‑day exercises.
• Use expertise in product development aligned with curriculum teaching points.
• Review student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead instructional modules and coordinate and run exercises.
• Build or revise curriculum.
• Travel CONUS and OCONUS.
• Work collaboratively with teaching teams, reviewers, and the program team to meet mission objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 or more years of experience. Four additional years of directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• In‑depth knowledge and experience with U.S. Army virtual training solutions and capabilities.
• Three or more years of direct substantial experience in delivering and applying custom curriculum.
• Ability to use instructional techniques, student assessment, and course evaluation methods for feedback and improvement.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, and facilitating course and training.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on applied skills against established standards and guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience providing project integration support, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating team efforts, assigning resources, and keeping stakeholders updated.
• Interest in learning new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve training delivery.

Pay Range: $73,450.00 – $
