About the Role:

Join Clarian Place Child Care and Learning Center as a Lead Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a vibrant learning environment. We are dedicated to providing quality education and care to children in Augusta, GA, and we are looking for passionate educators to lead our classrooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere for all children.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
  • Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies among students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a teaching role within a childcare or educational setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Passion for nurturing young children and fostering their love for learning.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in team initiatives.
