The College of Allied Health Sciences at Augusta University trains and educates today's health care professionals: the therapists, technicians, administrators, managers and assistants who are the backbone of our country's health care workforce.
As the nation's population ages and increasingly struggles with chronic disease and disability, as well as health care reform, our mission of educating premier health care professionals has never been more vital. Job Summary
This position provides administrative academic support for the College of Allied Health Sciences programs. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, provide guidance to the Academic and Student Affairs support team. Ensure all educational activities within the College of Allied Health Sciences are conducted efficiently, meet compliance requirements and are aligned with the college's goals in educational excellence.
Provide administrative support to Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to include the oversight of the Associate's Dean's calendar.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
* Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Alpha Eta Society, CAHS Background Check Committee, and Faculty Council. Duties to include calendar management, scheduling meetings, preparation of meeting agendas and minutes, etc.
* Under the direction of Alpha Eta Officers, facilitate Alpha Eta Society membership dues.
* Collection of dues, prepare bank deposits, bank reconciliation, review…
