Location: Augusta University, Augusta, GA

The Department of Biological Sciences at Augusta University seeks a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The candidate will develop an independent, competitive research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biology, mentor students, and serve on committees. The position is tenure‑track.

• Research (45%):
  Conduct and supervise research involving undergraduate and graduate science majors.
• Teaching (45%):
  Teach and coordinate biology courses.
• Service (10%):
  Perform service on committees and other duties.

• Ph.D. in biological sciences or a related field and at least one year of post‑doctoral experience.
• Strong publication record and commitment to teaching or mentorship.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness, scholarly activity, and suitable service in accordance with U.S. Government institutional and faculty employment policies.

• External funding awards.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The position is full‑time (1.0 FTE) during the academic year (August–May). Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements and is subject to funding.
