Academic Faculty in Cybersecurity Engineering

Tenure‑track Faculty – Cybersecurity Engineering (Assistant, Associate, Professor) – Augusta University. Target appointment Fall 2024.

• Teach courses during the academic year as assigned by the Dean, including grading, maintaining regular office hours, preparing classes, and following university teaching policies.
• Conduct persistent scholarship with national/international recognition. Success measured by publications and presentations in high‑quality venues, including articles on instruction.
• Provide service to the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences, Augusta University, and the profession, including leadership at local, regional, and national/international levels.

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Assistant Professor: active research program with publications in high‑quality journals and conferences.
• Associate Professor: at least five years as Assistant Professor or equivalent, active externally funded research, strong publication record, membership on technical program committees, and record of mentoring graduate students.
• Professor: at least five years as Associate Professor or equivalent, active externally funded research with competitive federal or state funding, outstanding publication record, leadership on conference program committees or editorial boards, and proven record of mentoring doctoral students.
• All ranks: evidence of teaching ability, scholarly activity, and personal qualities as assessed by interview and recommendations.

Academic‑year (August–May) commitment, full‑time, 1.0 FTE. Salaries are commensurate with education, experience, and achievements and subject to funds. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, sick leave, retirement plans, tuition waiver, wellness options, and additional incentives.
