Description

The Classroom Teacher is responsible for providing instruction in all core academic subjects to a class of approximately 10 students in grades 3-5. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate and have experience working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners. The teacher will utilize assessment data to monitor student progress, differentiate instruction, and develop individualized learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will build meaningful relationships with students and their families while fostering a supportive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required;
    Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Elementary Education or a related area required.
  • Experience teaching elementary-aged students, preferably in a self-contained classroom setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners.
  • Ability to analyze student data, monitor progress, and differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
