Qualifications:
  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active and valid School Psychologist license or certification for Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working within K-12 schools is highly valued
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for new environments
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding student needs
  • Counsel students individually and in groups on academic and emotional concerns
  • Participate in RTI and special education meetings
  • Support initiatives that promote a positive school climate
