October 23, 2026. The Academy offers a 10‑week program (11 weeks including orientation) in a classroom setting with live instructor‑led classes/labs and webcast courses.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 0900‑1700 (one‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Clinical rotations: 48 clinical hours on Central EMS ambulances
• Orientation: 1 week
• Program length: 10 weeks (total 11 weeks with orientation)
• Certification level: EMT‑B

• Full engagement with attendance at all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
• Prompt testing for NREMT within 1 week from course completion.
• Commitment to work for Central EMS in a full‑time position for at least 2 years after acquiring state licensure.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Class C driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience
• Be able to pass a pre‑employment interview, pre‑employment testing (FISDAP exam), background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening), and drug screening
