Augusta University's College of Nursing invites applications for a full‑time, 12‑month faculty member as an Instructor. We are the state's flagship nursing program, enrolling more than 1000 students on two campuses and at numerous academic‑practice partner sites. The College of Nursing, an integral component of the University System of Georgia, is part of the state's only publicly‑funded comprehensive academic health science center.

This position does not meet the requirements to be on a tenure track.

• Classroom instruction
• Simulation and Skills Lab instruction
• May include clinical teaching
• Participation in department committees

• Master's degree in nursing
• Active licensure to practice nursing in Georgia, or meet all eligibility requirements to apply for a nursing license in the state of Georgia
• Consistent with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirements for institutional accreditation
• Evidence of ability as a teacher
• Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned
• Successful experience, waived for those entering the academic profession who meet all other requirements
• Desirable personal qualities judged on the basis of personal interview, complete biographical data, and recommendations

• Academic teaching experience in clinical, simulation, or skills lab
• Didactic teaching experience with classroom technology

This position is fiscal year based and works year‑round. The intended work commitment or full‑time equivalent (FTE) is 1.0. Salary and compensation are commensurate with education, experience, and achievements, and are subject to availability of funds. Rank and salary are determined at the time of hire based on experience, education, credentials, specialty, training, and internal equity.
