Posting Summary

The Department of Biology at Rutgers-Camden seeks part-time lecturers for the Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 semesters to teach biology courses. Instructors will present course material, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate other course‑instructional requirements. Lab safety, biosafety, and blood borne pathogens (PPB) training is required for all instructors hired to teach biology laboratory courses.

• Minimum education:
  
  Master’s degree in biology or related discipline.
• Experience:
  
  Teaching experience in biology courses at the college level.
• Knowledge and skills:
  Strong understanding of biological concepts, effective communication, assessment design, and use of educational technology.
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  Prior laboratory teaching experience and familiarity with institutional teaching‑development resources.
