Assistant Director of Operations, Undergraduate Admissions
Assists with overseeing the evaluation, processing, and decision‐making for over 10,000 undergraduate applications annually at Augusta University. Responsibilities include monitoring GPA and transcript evaluations, supervising a two‑person team, managing tuition classification, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with University System of Georgia (USG) policies.
Operations Management- Lead GPA and transcript evaluation and decision‑making for all undergraduate applications, ensuring consistency with university and USG policies.
- Perform regular audits on GPA and transcript evaluations and admission decisions.
- Monitor data integrity and consistency between the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Student Information System (SIS).
- Recruit, select, train, and supervise a team of two staff members within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, manage time and leave compliance, and perform daily quality control checks on data entry in both CRM and SIS.
- Determine tuition classification and waiver eligibility for more than 1,500 incoming student populations each academic year.
- Request and evaluate legal documents from students as needed and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of USG and Board of Regents (BOR) tuition policies.
- Generate required or requested information and reports for all undergraduate applications.
- Assist the Associate Director of Operations with training on departmental procedures and policies and in assigning appropriate work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Promote a customer‑friendly environment and provide superior service to students, faculty, staff, and patients.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of experience in admissions operations, enrollment management, or related administrative operations; OR Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of related experience.
- Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM, BANNER SIS, reporting systems, transfer articulation, or other student information systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience in higher education.
- Willingness to learn Slate CRM, Axiom, and Banner SIS, USG tuition classification policies, and third‑party systems such as test scores, SAVE, and Transfer Evaluation Systems.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Work with a wide range of people.
- Efficiently and effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently.
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday (work outside standard business hours may be required).
Pay Band: B10. Salary: $52,500 annually, commensurate with qualifications.
Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, Teachers Retirement System (or Optional Retirement Plan), earned vacation, sick leave, and 13 paid holidays. Full‑time employees eligible for tuition assistance after 6 months of employment.
Conditions of Employment- Successful completion of a background check prior to starting.

- Motor vehicle reports required for positions that require driving a university vehicle.
- Proof of completed academic degree(s) and post‑secondary coursework for faculty hires; foreign‑institution candidates must provide an educational/credential evaluation.
- Responsible for safeguarding confidential, available, and integral sensitive information in accordance with cybersecurity and privacy policies.
