Job Summary
The Coordinator of Student Involvement (Student Union) is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive campus activities program that enhances student engagement, fosters a sense of belonging, and supports the overall student experience. This role directly oversees campus-wide events, student programming initiatives, and student staff, while advising the student programming board (the Jaguar Production Crew). The coordinator collaborates with campus partners to deliver high-impact events, manages logistics and budgets, supports marketing and outreach efforts, and ensures programs align with institutional goals and best practices in student affairs.
Responsibilities- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of student staff for the Jaguar Production Crew, including hiring, training, and developing 30+ student assistants.
- Plan and implement campus‑wide events such as Homecoming Week and Student Appreciation Day, ensuring alignment with institutional and student engagement priorities.
- Monitor inventory, safety, and functionality of the student center facility, coordinating with maintenance staff and maintaining equipment and furnishings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of work experience in event planning, education, or a related field.

Monday‑Friday (outside standard business hours may be required). - Pay Band: B7.
- Salary: $43,888 to $45,000 annually.
- Recruitment Period:
