Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and educational standards.
• Create and adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction and support in individual and small group settings, focusing on students specific learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate students into the general classroom environment as appropriate.
• Assess and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods and goals as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education.

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field;
  Masters degree preferred.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and developing IEPs.
• Knowledge of various learning disabilities and effective instructional strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and engage with students, families, and colleagues effectively.
