The Simulated Patient Education Research (SPEAR) Center is the primary healthcare simulation resource for the healthcare training programs of Augusta University. Our mission is to provide Augusta University health professions programs with the environment and expertise necessary to design, develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality simulation-based education.
Job SummaryThe Simulation Operations Technician supports the daily execution of simulation-based educational activities within the Simulated Patients for Education, Assessment, and Research (SPEAR) Center. This entry-level role contributes to creating, maintaining, and resetting realistic, safe, and well-organized simulated clinical environments. Simulation Operations Technicians work under the guidance of Simulation Operations Specialists and provide essential operational, technical, and logistical support before, during, and after simulation activities.
There are two full-time schedules available:
- Opening Technician: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Closing Technician: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
