Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students alongside teachers
• Deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects
• Support students' social-emotional skill development
• Assist with after school and enrichment programs
• Build positive, inclusive relationships with students and school staff
• Monitor and track student progress and participation
• Communicate regularly with teammates, teachers, and City Year staff
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Promote a safe, welcoming classroom and school environment
• Support school and City Year events, projects, and initiatives
