Description:
Job description Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church's MDO & Preschool is looking for a Teacher to work in our Two Year Old Classroom starting this August for our school year! Our program runs from 8:45am-1:15pm. This classroom is open on Monday-Friday. Our school year runs August 5th-May 17th, M-F, 8:45am-1:15pm (with holidays and breaks built in the calendar).
- Provide a loving, Christian environment that is nurturing & developmentally appropriate.
- Ability to help with diaper changes.
- Assist with helping children during circle time, arts and crafts, playtime outside on the playground or inside at the gymnasium and assisting children during lunchtime.
- Assist with lesson planning.
- Maintain open communication with children, families, staff and directors.
- Help maintain the health and safety of the environment.
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to lift, bend, & sit on floor.
- Must exhibit strong classroom management & flexibility with daily schedule
- Must maintain a positive attitude while working with the children and other Reid MDO/Preschool Staff.
- Experience working with young children.
- CPR/First Aid (preferred but not a prerequisite)
- Clean background
- Christian foundation
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
