Responsibilities- Direct supervision of Laboratory Quality Control Technicians
- Ensure the safety of Laboratory Technicians and other personnel entering the Laboratory towards the goal of eliminating potential injury or damage
- Provide accurate, timely laboratory data for the purpose of plant support (and QC support to Toll compounders when requested)
- Actively participate in Quality Processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949
- Serve as QRB Administrator
- Interact with Plant and R&D personnel to support production changes and Product Development as they relate to Quality Control testing
- Communicate, as required, with external customers, R&D, Product Management, and Sales and Marketing for the purpose of contributing to customer satisfaction
- Serve as Augusta site LIMS system administrator
- Responsible for providing the necessary lab supplies
- Responsible for coordinating QC equipment repairs, and ensuring no lapse in calibrations
- Coordinate Measurement Systems Variability studies for lab methods (MSA’s)
- Coordination of testing of products needed for urgent shipments/orders

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering and/or equivalent extensive lab experience.
- 5+ years of Laboratory experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.

- HSE requirements:
Perform required safety audits per the Augusta Plant yearly audit plan; attend plant-wide safety/wellness sessions; lead Critical Task Audits, VPP/Housekeeping safety audits, JSA’s and What-if scenarios; ensure CBTs compliance for the QC team; participate in PSM, PHA, and PSSR field reviews, as well as Follow‑Up Incident investigations as needed; maintain a working knowledge of all plant environmental standards, ES‑01 through ES‑10;
know the environmental permit limits for your assigned plant (air, waste water, storm water); maintain a working knowledge of the Hazardous Waste Rules (RCRA) to include storage, handling, sampling, transporting, manifesting, record keeping, and emergency response.
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $98,720 to $123,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
