Insight Global is currently seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Reliability Specialist to support a chemical operating manufacturing facility within the reliability team. This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day health monitoring, diagnostics, and reliability improvement of critical rotating equipment across nitrogen, ammonia, and urea plants. Approximately 60% of the role is field‑based, where the specialist monitors pumps, compressors, couplings, and turbo machinery, performs vibration and lubrication analysis, supports equipment troubleshooting, and oversees rebuilds, overhauls, and QA/QC activities on critical assets.
The remaining time is spent in the office leading and participating in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) using established procedures (including 5‑Why methodology), developing asset vulnerability reports with actionable recommendations, optimizing PM/PdM strategies, and supporting asset criticality and bad‑actor elimination programs. This individual works closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, vendors, and site leadership to ensure safe, reliable operation of rotating equipment, while also mentoring rotating equipment specialists and supporting reliability training initiatives.
Occasional travel between sites is required to support consistency and best practices across facilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join one of the largest agricultural company in the world in Augusta for a full time position. The expectation is 5 days a week on site.
- 10+ years of hands‑on rotating equipment experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- 6+ years of vibration analysis experience
- Strong working knowledge of API standards including API 610, 611/612, 614, 617, and 671 related to pumps, compressors, couplings, lube oil systems, and turbo machinery (non‑negotiable)
- Proven experience performing Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on rotating equipment failures using structured methodologies (e.g., 5‑Why)
- Physically capable of working in industrial environments, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders and stairs, working at heights and in confined spaces
