PurposeHold the most senior position in the mechanical engineering department. Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, oversee design and integration of mechanical systems, and provide technical expertise and guidance. The role involves strategic planning, project coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

- Perform equipment sizing and selection, alternative analyses and other deliverables.
- Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
- Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross‑functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
- Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
- Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Prepare, review, and approve electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Ten or more (10+) years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- In‑depth understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to develop and implement mechanical engineering standards and guidelines.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Strong relationship capabilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
