Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing hardware and software configuration on an Aerospace program with responsibility for configuration management planning, identification, change management, status accounting, verification, and audit.
- Experience as the configuration lead on an aerospace program.
- Experience developing, estimating, and executing the Configuration Management portion of an Aerospace SOW.
- Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems such as Teamcenter or 3DX.
- Briefed to at least one ADP ISR/UAS System Acquisition Proposal (SAP).
- Supplier Management experience.
You will be the Manager of Configuration Management – Level 5 for the ADP Configuration Management team.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Manager of Configuration Management – Level 5, you will lead a high‑performing configuration management organization within the Advanced Development Program, guiding both leadership and technical execution.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Leading and mentoring a 20+ member configuration management team.
- Balancing leadership and technical tasks, maintaining roughly a 50/50 split between leadership and individual contributor tasks.
- Defining, implementing, and ensuring compliance with CM processes.
- Overseeing staffing, performance management, training, and career planning.
- Managing project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Location and Eligibility- Position is located in Palmdale, CA or Marietta, GA.
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
- Requires an active Secret clearance to start.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
- Experience analyzing hardware and software systems.
- Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies.
- Focused attention to detail to ensure data attributes are accurate and complete.
- Demonstrated systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change.
- Experience resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborative team environment experience.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with configuration status accounting and product release processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience working with customer and subcontractor CDRL/SDRLs and SOWs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience understanding DoD contracts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
