Senior Mechanical Engineer
Own mechanical R&D for Fleetzero battery modules:
From a clean-sheet concept through production-ready design.
THE ROLE
You will be the driving force behind the full mechanical development lifecycle of our battery module products. That means owning designs from initial concept and first-article prototypes, through development testing, design validation, and into high-volume manufacturing. You will work closely with electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineering counterparts to deliver robust, producible hardware on aggressive schedules.
This is a hands‑on role. You will be building and testing prototypes yourself, running experiments, and iterating quickly. If you are the type of engineer who is equally comfortable at a CAD workstation and a build bench, this role is for you.
BONUS POINTS- Experience with battery systems, power electronics enclosures, or thermal management for high-energy-density products
- Background in marine, defense, automotive, or industrial equipment markets
- Familiarity with IP-rated enclosure design and sealing strategies
- Experience with liquid cooling systems design and qualification
