The company is a privately held contract manufacturing firm of composite material to the industrial, electronics, aerospace, and defense industries. Financially stable with a strong growth trajectory that can offer a good work-life balance for the right professional. This is an on-site position in the Augusta, GA area.

A qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3+) plus years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, preferably with experience in melting quartz and related processes.
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing mechanical systems for high-performance applications.
• Experience with FEA tools (e.g. Comsol) for evaluating and enhancing designs.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in a production or experimental environment.
• Experience designing precious metal parts for high-temperature glass, conditioning, and fiber formation using advanced design tools is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
