- Diverse projects across geotechnical, civil, environmental, marine, and survey disciplines
- Perform, oversee, and monitor surface and subsurface investigations, testing, and field activities
- Conduct site visits to evaluate existing foundations, retaining walls, and other structures
- Interpret field and laboratory data to prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and engineering calculations
- Assist in the design of foundations, retaining walls, and support structures, including construction drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients to successfully deliver projects
- Support project planning, proposals, scheduling, invoicing, and project coordination
- Assist with environmental site assessments and corrective action planning
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to field personnel
- Maintain laboratory quality standards, documentation, training, and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field
- 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- EIT or GIT certification required (or ability to obtain within six months)
- PE or PG registration preferred
Experience preparing technical reports, engineering calculations, and recommendations - Working knowledge of CAD and engineering design/analysis software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
