• Perform, oversee, and monitor surface and subsurface investigations, testing, and field activities
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing foundations, retaining walls, and other structures
• Interpret field and laboratory data to prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and engineering calculations
• Assist in the design of foundations, retaining walls, and support structures, including construction drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients to successfully deliver projects
• Support project planning, proposals, scheduling, invoicing, and project coordination
• Assist with environmental site assessments and corrective action planning
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to field personnel
• Maintain laboratory quality standards, documentation, training, and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field
• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
• EIT or GIT certification required (or ability to obtain within six months)
• PE or PG registration preferred
  
  Experience preparing technical reports, engineering calculations, and recommendations
• Working knowledge of CAD and engineering design/analysis software preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
