Osmose is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
** Permit Coordinator
** to play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, acquisition, and management of permits required for utility, telecom, and infrastructure projects.
The Permit Coordinator will oversee permit progress across multiple markets, coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, project managers, engineers, and construction teams, and ensure all permitting requirements are met within established timelines. This role is essential to maintaining project momentum, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing risks that could impact project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and track permit applications across multiple markets and jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, DOTs, railroads, utility providers, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor permit status, approvals, and timelines to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Maintain permit tracking systems and databases, including
- Provide accurate permitting reports and status updates to clients and leadership.
- Support and prioritize work for offshore permitting teams.
- Perform high-level quality control on permit packages before submission and client delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve permit delays, denials, and regulatory challenges.
- Mentor and support Permit Administrators as needed.
- ** Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.**
- 3+ years of experience in permitting, telecom, broadband, utility coordination, construction administration, project coordination, or infrastructure deployment.
- Experience managing permit applications and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Working knowledge of municipal, county, state, DOT, railroad, and utility permitting processes.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control capabilities.
