Senior Private Banker - High Net Worth (HNW) Individuals
As a Senior Private Banker for high-net-worth individuals, you will be responsible for delivering personalized financial solutions and exceptional service to affluent clients. You will manage and grow a portfolio of HNW clients by providing strategic advice across deposits, credit, and treasury services. This role requires deep financial expertise, strong relationship management skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for HNW clients, building long-term trust-based relationships.
- Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and personal values to deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively recommend adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the client base through referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in private banking.
- Transition existing book of business to GBC; timeline goal to be specified by manager.
- Structure and manage complex credit facilities including mortgages, lines of credit, and tailored lending solutions.
- Possess knowledge of and experience in commercial credit.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in private banking or wealth management focused on HNW clients.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of affluent clients.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Deep understanding of the needs of clients in specialized segments (e.g., sports, entertainment, family offices).
- Ability to navigate complex family dynamics.
