Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a midlevel associate to its private equity fund formation group in New York or Houston. Expect direct access to senior partners, hands‑on training, and real client interaction on cutting‑edge work.

• Sponsor‑side formation for private equity funds and related vehicles
• Draft, negotiate, and refine core fund documents and investor materials
• Support fundraisings and closings, coordinate with tax, regulatory, and finance teams
• Daily client contact and responsibility scaled to experience, with mentorship baked in

• Class years 2018–2021 from a nationally recognized firm or fund practice
• Solid experience in sponsor‑side fund formation and investor negotiations
• Strong drafting, organizational rigor, and a steady handle on timelines

• Highly regarded fund formation platform with leading practitioners and meaningful training
• Early responsibility and visible client work on sophisticated matters
• New York base within a top firm in this space
• Annual base compensation range: $310,000 to $420,000, plus discretionary performance bonus and comprehensive benefits including health care, retirement, paid time off, parental leave, life insurance, and FSAs.
