Role Overview

Attention Augusta, GA traders:
Maverick Currencies is looking for dedicated individuals to join our prop trading team with firm-backed capital. This is a remote, performance-based contractor role where your income depends entirely on your trading results. We're looking for people who are serious about developing professional trading skills and building long-term consistency.

• Day trade Forex and Crypto markets using firm-provided capital
• Follow and refine rule-based trading systems
• Analyze price action and technical setups on intraday charts
• Apply strict risk management rules on every trade
• Review trades, track performance, and continuously improve
• Participate in coaching, group sessions, and the trader community

No prior trading experience required. Must be disciplined, coachable, and committed to learning rule-based trading systems.

• Serious about trading as a professional craft, not a side hustle
• Value rules, structure, and accountability over gut feel
• Comfortable with performance-based compensation (no fixed salary)
• Wants to trade with more capital than they currently have access to
• Understand that risk management matters more than any single trade

• Access to funded trading accounts with scaling paths up to $400,000
• Education on Forex/Crypto trading, risk control, and trading psychology

This is a performance-based contract role. Traders earn through a profit split on trading returns they generate—typically ranging from 60% to 90% depending on experience and performance tier. Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $200,000+ for consistently profitable traders. Compensation is not a fixed salary or hourly wage—your earnings depend entirely on your trading results. Those who cannot trade profitably will not earn income from this role.
