Job Summary

LVI Associates are seeking a Director who specialises in IP Disputes to apply independent judgement to lead and support forensic analyses across litigation, forensic accounting, and valuation engagements. This role is centred on quantifying damages in complex commercial disputes and intellectual property matters. You will play a key role in managing work streams, developing robust financial analyses, and contributing directly to expert opinions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the review, analysis, and organisation of large, complex datasets and financial documentation
  • Develop detailed schedules, models, and analyses to support expert opinions and damages assessments
  • Clearly articulate findings and present conclusions in a structured and defensible manner
  • Support the preparation and drafting of expert reports, including identifying and linking supporting evidence
  • Engage directly with legal counsel and client stakeholders through meetings, calls, and written communication
  • Critically review and assess opposing expert reports, methodologies, and calculations
  • Perform and oversee quality control procedures across analyses, reports, and deliverables
  • Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research to support case strategy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (forensic accounting, audit, valuation, disputes, or similar)
  • Progress toward or interest in a CPA (sponsorship available)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
  • Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and professional scepticism
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
