Role summaryTruist Securities is seeking a Project Finance Analyst Intern for its Capital Markets division. This role is exclusively for previous 2026 Truist interns and offers a conversion opportunity to a full-time, two-year program. The program includes intensive classroom training in capital markets, corporate finance, and financial modeling, followed by hands‑on experience in the Project Finance group. Analysts will support senior professionals in originating, structuring, and executing lease, partnership, and loan transactions, working with various internal teams and completing client-facing materials, financial analysis, and modeling.
The position is based in Atlanta, GA, with a base salary of $100,000 per year.

Truist Securities’ Corporate & Investment Banking Asset Finance Group Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts on this team will be placed within one of our five Asset Finance groups (Asset Based Lending, Asset Securitization, Project Finance, Structured Real Estate, Working Capital Solutions) and play a meaningful role in supporting senior investment banking professionals.
Our Asset Finance Group delivers a wide range of financing solutions. We combine market-leading structuring expertise with detailed industry insights and broad distribution capabilities to design a customized strategy that best meets our client’s needs. Analysts will work closely with senior Asset Finance professionals to help drive the growth of the business.
This opportunity will be specifically for the Project Finance (PF) group.
Project FinanceProject Finance Group Analysts work closely with Project Finance Origination and Structuring teams to assist with the origination, structuring and execution of Project Finance lease, partnership and loan transactions. Analysts will work with functional partners in Credit Risk, Asset Management, Portfolio Management and Operations to process transactions and manage client experience. Analysts will work closely with senior professionals to complete client pitch materials, proposals, term sheets, and transaction screening materials.
