Long Range Planning Support Analyst, MCoE G3 - (2277)

Summary: Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Long Range Planning Support Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 mission at Fort Benning, GA. The G-3 organization encompasses multi-functional services, with numerous locations across Fort Benning. Critical G-3 functions include:

• Planning and scheduling:
  Air Operations;
  Ceremonies and special events;
  Staff Inspection Program;
  Long Range Planning Calendar and the Digital Training Management System.
• Other Support:
  Strategic Analysis

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Shall provide planning and training management support.
• Shall attend Command quarterly guidance meetings, and prepare notes capturing command tasking, guidance, and comments for distribution.
• Shall coordinate the date, time, and location for monthly G3/S3 meetings.
• Draft memoranda of instruction affecting installation resources for review and approval of the Government.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Strong communications skills (oral and written), ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce.
• Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command.
• Degree in General Business, Business/Technical Writing, Military Science, or English (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in oral and written communications.
• Basic file management and organization ability.
  
  Knowledge of military (Army) operations and knowledge of military chain-of-command and basic protocol.
• Former Senior NCO or Officer with similar experience as outlined in this announcement is preferred.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is Required

Travel: Some Travel will be required
