Ultrasound Technologist PRN

Overview
Ultrasound Technologist PRN with Doctors Hospital of Augusta. We are looking for an enthusiastic ultrasound technologist to help us reach our goals and provide quality healthcare in our community.

Responsibilities
You will perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body and the following common exams (not all-inclusive):

• Limited OB
• Pelvic – trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal
• Head/Neck – thyroid, lymph nodes, carotid
• Invasive procedures – biopsies, thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Abdominal
• Renals
• Small parts

You will complete the patient’s history form, document the technologist exam sheet, check labs as needed, complete consent forms when necessary, and restock exam rooms with required supplies between patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography
• Sonography certification from the ARDMS (or equivalent) required
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• Registry in Sonography
• State License required for South Carolina only
• Minimum of 1 year of Sonographer experience highly preferred
