Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Variable weekend schedule with every other weekend required

• 1:4 patient ratio maintained throughout shifts

• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed weekly schedule

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

• Travel experience preferred

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC

• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop - no exceptions)

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Work in general emergency department (non-trauma) with high acuity cases

• Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics in 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients daily

• Floating assignments rare

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period

• Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or tardiness over 20 minutes results in immediate termination

• Georgia or Compact state nursing license required at time of submission

• Two supervisory references required (manager level or above)

• Must be available to complete compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing

The emergency department is specially designed to handle everything from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma situations. The facility offers 24-hour specialty support services including heart vascular services, neurosciences, radiology, anesthesiology, and surgery. The organization is both Stroke and STEMI certified and maintains high standards for patient care with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
