• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• No prior experience required; must become certified by ARDMS or ARRT or CCI within 6 months of employment.
• None required for licensure/certification by law.
• BLS certified.
• Registered ARDMS, ARRT, and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.
