Position Summary:We are seeking a Testing Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments for patients of all ages, interpreting results, and providing detailed reports and feedback to patients, families, and referring providers. This role plays a critical part in supporting diagnosis, treatment planning, and educational or vocational recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and personality assessments.
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests.
- Provide detailed, clear, and timely written reports with recommendations.
- Offer feedback sessions to patients, families, and/or caregivers.
- Collaborate with other clinicians, including psychiatrists, therapists, and medical providers, to integrate assessment findings into treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with advances in psychological testing and assessment methodologies.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
- Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in the state of Georgia.
- Experience conducting psychological testing across age groups (children, adolescents, and adults preferred).
- Strong knowledge of standardized assessment tools and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in educational, developmental, or neuropsychological assessment.
- Familiarity with ADHD, learning disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders.
- Comfort providing feedback in a sensitive and supportive manner.
