Job Details:

• 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted

• Care for adult to geriatric patient population

• Maintain 1:6 patient ratio across all shifts

• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere

• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed

• Required to work major holidays based on assignment period - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if three fall during assignment, must work two

• Major holidays include:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Spring break blackout dates:
April 4th-12th

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Work with Epic charting system, Pyxis medication dispensing, and SBAR communication

• BLS certification required

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

• Must be available to submit core documents and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
