Job Details:

• Work in Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry monitoring

• Care for patients from adolescents to geriatrics

• Maintain 1:6 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends

• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere

• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed

• No call requirements

• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period

• BLS certification required

• Epic charting system experience required (also uses Pyxis and SBAR)

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Must have 1 year minimum experience (1st timers accepted)

• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, blood product administration, and various medical/surgical procedures

• Full compliance required to start on time

• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

• Two supervisory references highly preferred

This healthcare facility operates a 38-bed Medical Surgical unit with an average daily census of 33 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology and equipment to support diverse medical and surgical needs.
