About the Position
Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule:

36 hours per week; every other weekend; orientation provided based on assignment length
Highlights:
16-bed telemetry unit caring for adults to geriatric patients with cardiac and acute medical diagnoses
Patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a dynamic, interdisciplinary care environment
Epic charting system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication
Diagnoses include CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias, device implants, sepsis, PE/DVT, and more
13-week assignment with flexibility to extend; maximum 7 days requested time off
Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; no call required
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
Minimum 2 years of telemetry or step-down experience; first-time travelers accepted
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
Proficiency in Epic EMR system required
Experience managing cardiac drips (milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, heparin) without titration
Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, central/PICC line care, wound care, IV management, and post-cardiac procedure care
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
Availability to work major holidays as required per assignment period
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
